The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden is a bird-watchers paradise, with over 150 species identified in the most recent survey (compared to 37 in the initial survey in 1987). As the garden matures & grows, the bird numbers have grown too.
We have two volunteers at the garden (Peter Langdon & Brian Reichelt) who are extremely knowledgeable about birds & especially the birds found right here in the garden. These two have put together an excellent guide book which they sell in our gift shop, it's an easy to use book which helps point people in the right direction to find birds of interest whilst out in our garden.
If you are interested in accessing a Bird List for the AALBG, we provide a FREE list which can also be accessed by clicking on this link.
